There are quite a few types of stadium seats that are in vogue which is a function of the kind of sports activities being played in the stadium concerned. Some of these are bleachers while others are in the form of row seats and also individual seating as the case may be. Seats are of great significance for concerts as well as sporting events which means that you can see the entire goings on in the stage or the sports arena only if the seats are properly placed. In some venues, you can reach special suites and spectator boxes by elevators, with the availability of every kind of amenity to suit your needs.

When it comes to stadium seating, you can have a number of seats that have support portions that are not cushioned, with other parts of the seats being specially upholstered. Some of the seats are totally un-upholstered and these are known as bleachers found in some stadiums. In other stadiums that are more modern, it is possible to have well designed and ergonomic seats that are also found in parks and can be made of plastic or metal too.

There are also a number of movie theaters that have taken on the idea of using seating to meet patrons’ needs. Gone are the days of simple inclined seats. In stadiums you will generally find ramps in the back portion of the stadium, with each side having chairs and stairs in the middle which lead from the back to the front. In the normal course, wheelchair users would be assigned place at the very front of the grand stand, which would make it tough for them to look and see the event. This is changing quite some bit in recent times, where wheelchairs are being assigned to the top few rows with accessibility being through special elevators.

In the case of baseball stadiums, it is seen that the seats are arranged in tiered format, with chairs having backs and arms too. However, football stadiums generally have simple bleacher seats where the seating is referred to as stepped seating because it is possible to step on the chairs aisle upon aisle too. This is also true of some college stadiums where numbered seating is the norm.

When spectators have to sit for long, they need backrests in seats to get some rest and respite for their tired and aching bodies. It is possible to attach some cheaper backrest versions to bleacher types of seats too, so your comfort is literally an accessory away.

2 New Published Cup Holder Articles.

We've had two new articles published on Ezinearticles.com.

The first is similar to a post or two here, but it discusses how the cup holder came to be included in car's interior design. Pretty interesting story as far as drink olders go, so check it out if you're interested. Anything from coffee, to change, and the more important but gorwing smaller in size cellphones. This might give you a few ideas on how to maximize the use of that nifty little invention. Some sporting venues do not. Whether drinking a soda or a beer, when it's time to cheer, this can become a huge problem, and spilling your drink on your spouse or date doesn't make for a romantic evening. There are drink holders available that mimic most stadiums, by holding your beverage at the end of your armrest, but also a few more fan oriented types of cup holders. Some padded seat cushions have a cup holder portion attached that dangles between your legs, and if you're at a stadium with bleachers as seating, there's a few clip-on cup holders that slide onto your seat.

How to Maximize Your Car Cup Holder.

<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 169px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_OfjYAnnobug/SrpSnmoF5AI/AAAAAAAAAAw/yfbMnC9YpYA/s320/airplane+retouch+-+2.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5384707144811930626" />
Including a cup holder in the interior design of a car may have been the greatest idea since sliced bread. However, using it for a cup only is a close minded notion. With so many other things to throw in it, the more popular of which I’ll include in this article, you have the ability to create a home away from home, or a mobile office.

Sitting in your car as you make that dreary drive to the office is a chore, but wouldn’t it be even worse if you didn’t have a place for your coffee, soda, or wake-up call energy drink? The most likely use is for food and drink, so likely that once they were included, the auto industry began putting cup holders in all their designs. Until a spill occurs, you’ve probably forgotten your cup holder was even there.

The number of beverage holders included increases in relationship to our increased technology. As cell phones and PDA’s become smaller and smaller, the cozy fit in our auto cup holders yield natural storage. With a centrally located position, it’s hard to miss a call. (Many states are passing "hands free" laws regarding cell phone usage, and although I agree we should be driving first, texting after driving, the cup holder is still a logical place to store these types of devices.)

For myself, I’m always counting out pennies while waiting in line at the drive-thru. Other than the few nickels, and occasional dirty dime masquerading as a penny, there only ever seems to be copper coins. This use is probably found more among the younger generations, like those going to high school or college, but it is nonetheless a logical practice.

There’s one last topic, and probably the most creative. Various articles on the web describe a laptop tray that extends from the cup holder in your car. Constructed of PVC pipe, duct tape, and glue, this inventive use is described as making the morning commute more exciting. Cool idea or not, I don’t promote using any device while the car is on, or more importantly while it is in motion. For more information (or to see a picture with a detailed description) search “cup holder laptop tray” on any search engine.

Portable Cup Holder.

Cup holders are an extraordinary innovation helping out with holding cups whether you are in an Airplane, a train, a car or on a wheelchair. Drink Holder

It's an age old battle, drink holder vs. cup holder. The struggle has been raging now for years and years. Which side are you on? What's the difference you're asking yourself? Well, if you don't know, I'm not sure I can tell you.

Haha, the answer is nothing really. More people choose to call it a cup holder rather than a drink holder. The definition of both is anything that can hold a device, such as a cup or other drinking vessel. Pretty straight forward right? It can also be found in many uses, such as a coffee cup holder, or the drink holders at the end of the armrests at movie theaters, or the main place the cup holder got it's start was the revolutionary idea to include an automobile cup holder, etc.

The battle is still raging, so pick a side.
